Tilicho
& Manang
THE HIGH COUNTRY
Tilicho and Manang feel like places where the landscape gets stripped down to sky, rock, ice and silence.
The journey into the Manang region changes quickly as the trail climbs. Green valleys give way to dry mountain terrain, huge cliffs and increasingly dramatic Himalayan horizons.
These photographs keep the trail, villages, weather and quiet moments alongside the destination itself — a record of a journey through one of Nepal's most striking mountain regions.

Mustang
THE OPEN COUNTRY
Upper Mustang is all about scale — huge skies, dry valleys, bare slopes and a horizon that seems to keep moving away.
The muted earth tones, dramatic cliffs and wide valleys create a sense of space that feels completely different from Nepal's wetter mountain regions.
The road itself becomes part of the destination, with villages and mountain walls appearing slowly across the high desert.

THE EASTERN RIDGES
The journey to Pathibhara moves through the high, forested landscape of Taplejung and into one of eastern Nepal's best-known mountain routes.
Forest, steep trails, changing weather and the anticipation of reaching the destination all become part of the experience.
Perched high in the Himalayas, Pathibhara temple is one of Nepal’s most revered pilgrimage sites. Devotees journey through the mountains with faith and devotion, seeking the blessings of the goddess and believing their sincere wishes will be heard. Surrounded by breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, the pilgrimage feels like a journey not only to a sacred temple, but also inward toward faith, peace, and devotion.

Yangri Peak
ABOVE THE FOREST
Ama Yangri packs a surprisingly big Himalayan feeling into a relatively compact mountain journey.
The climb rises through forest toward an exposed ridge, with the landscape opening as altitude increases and the surrounding mountains begin to dominate the horizon.
The photographs preserve the climb, weather, trail and the broad panorama from the ridge.
Kanyam
Tea Hills
THE GREEN HILLS
Kanyam trades snow peaks for rolling tea gardens, mist and intensely green hills — a completely different face of eastern Nepal.
Roads curve through tea estates, clouds settle over the ridges and the weather can change the mood of the entire landscape within minutes.
Nestled among the green hills of eastern Nepal, Ilam is a place where rolling tea gardens, quiet forests, and drifting mountain mist come together in perfect harmony. Known for its endless tea plantations and peaceful landscapes, Ilam invites you to slow down and enjoy the simple beauty of the hills. Every winding road, misty morning, and fresh breeze carries a sense of calm that makes Ilam feel less like a destination and more like an escape into nature.
Pikey
Peak
THE QUIET VIEWPOINT
Pikey Peak is a reminder that you don't always need a famous base camp to get an enormous Himalayan view.
The trail moves through villages, forest and open ridges, gradually revealing a mountain panorama that can stretch across the eastern Himalaya when the weather cooperates.
Rising above the hills of Solukhumbu in the Lower Khumbu, Pikey Peak is a peaceful Himalayan destination known for its spectacular mountain panoramas. From the summit, the horizon opens toward some of Nepal’s greatest peaks, including Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, and Numbur. With quiet trails, traditional Sherpa villages, Buddhist culture, and breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, Pikey Peak offers a more tranquil side of the Khumbu—far from the crowds of the classic Everest trail.
Manungkot
Viewpoint
THE HILLTOP
Manungkot is a quieter kind of mountain experience: broad middle-hill views, open sky and the chance to slow down for a while.
Instead of chasing altitude, the attraction here is perspective. The hilltop opens the landscape outward, making it a good place to watch changing light and layered hills.
This small collection captures the atmosphere of the viewpoint and the journey around it.
Sandakpur
Ridge
THE EASTERN HORIZON
Sandakpur sits high on the eastern ridge, where changing weather and enormous Himalayan horizons define the experience.
Clear mornings can open the landscape toward distant snow peaks, while clouds and mist can transform the same ridge within minutes.
This collection records the views, weather and quiet character of a destination in eastern Nepal that rewards patience.
Kuri
Village
THE MOUNTAIN VILLAGE
Kuri Village has a distinctly alpine atmosphere, with mountain trails, stone buildings and dramatic hills surrounding the settlement.
The village serves as a gateway toward the higher ridges around Kalinchowk and has its own character apart from the viewpoint above it.
High in the hills of Dolakha, Kuri Village is a peaceful mountain settlement and the gateway to the revered Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple. Surrounded by dense forests and dramatic Himalayan views, the journey to Kalinchowk becomes especially magical in winter, when snow covers the hills and turns Kuri into a quiet alpine retreat. At the summit, devotees visit the sacred temple seeking the blessings of Goddess Kalinchowk, while travelers come for the panoramic views, fresh mountain air, and the feeling of being above the clouds.
